A NUMERICAL INVESTIGATION ON THE PERFORMANCE OF A 300MW PULVERIZED COAL FURNACE

The general simulation of operating performance for pulverized coal fired furnaces is made by means of the radiative heat transfer model of dispersed particles and new numerical scheme, which have been developed by us. These models and schemes push the numerical modeling of combustion process forward. They have great potentialities and become an important additional measure in the design of burning apparatus and optimization of operation.
