The invention discloses a method for controlling a provincial/municipal integrated AVC system, which takes the step hydropower station into account, relates to the technical field of design and application of an automatic (reactive) voltage control (AVC) system in a power system, and aims at solving the control problem that a plurality of power plants (stations) do not belong to the same control soft division due to the particularity that the step hydropower stations are dispersed topographically in the southwest area, so that the power plants (stations) fail to carry out the provincial dispatching of the AVC system from the control center. The voltage of the high-voltage bus or the target value of the main transformer gateway power factor in the municipal dispatching transformer station is obtained by a provincial dispatching tertiary voltage control module, a municipal dispatching AVC system can realize the safe, high-quality and economical operation of the regional electric network on the basis that the target value is met, avoid the mutual influence between the soft divisions and effectively improve the control efficiency. The invention realizes a provincial/municipal integrated AVC closed-loop control system and meets the requirements for the safe, high-quality and economical operation of the electric network.
