A proposal of business model to foster innovation in knowledge intensive service companies

For a long time, the service companies have been marginalized in academic studies on innovation, because they are considered less innovative than product companies. However, this scenario has changed with the emergence of the new era of knowledge that leads these companies to seek new ways to organize, generate business value from innovative processes and services. In this context, the purpose of this article is to propose a Business Model for the R&D in KIBS, built from conducting theoretical research and analysis of the case study of a software development company.
