COMPETITION IN TELECOMMUNICATIONS

It is a great privilege for me to address this meeting of the Antitrust Law Section and, particularly, to appear with my two Northwestern University colleagues: one a former and highly regarded Chairman of the FCC, and the other the new "Telecommunications Czar." I am only kidding about Henry Geller's new status, but there are those who predict that Henry will forget his "roots" (as General Counsel of the FCC) and will strive to have NTIA eclipse the Commission. Of course, there are also those, even in this audience, who might wish him well on any such effort.
