The design and implementation of the CNGI customer premises network for HENAN Agricultural Informatization Center

Based on the IPv4 network in HENAN Agricultural Informatization Center, considering the long-term transition from IPv4 to IPv6, compatible with existing IPv4 application, the CNGI Customer Premises Network in HENAN Agricultural Informatization Center was constructed using IPv6 / IPv4 dual protocol stack mode and 3 layers network structure of access layer, aggregation layer and core layer. IPv6 in IPv4 manual tunnel was used to connect with CERNET2 backbone. The method of IPv4 address mapping to IPv6 address was employed to plan and allocate the IPv6 addresses. Both static routing strategy and default routing strategy were used in the network. The users could access to the Customer Premises Network and visit the IPv6 applications and services through two ways of direct access and automatic ISATAP tunnel.
