Construction method for connection and replacement of underground water-supply fiber-reinforced plastic mortar pipe and steel pipe

A construction method for connection and replacement of an underground water-supply fiber-reinforced plastic mortar pipe and steel pipe, comprising the following steps: (1) materials and equipment are prepared; (2) reinforced concrete support piers are lifted using a 25 ton truck crane into a trench where replacement of a water supply pipeline is required and the piers are aligned and arranged on a same plane; (3) two flanged connecting pipes respectively are lifted using the 25 ton truck crane onto the reinforced concrete support piers in front of fiber-reinforced plastic mortar pipes at two ends, one extremity having a groove is inserted into the fiber-reinforced plastic mortar pipes and sealed; (4) two water-supply steel pipes welded to a flanged plate at one extremity respectively are lifted using the 25 ton truck crane into the trench and onto the reinforced concrete support piers beside the two flanged connecting pipes and are locked tight using bolts with the flanged connecting pipes; and, (5) the remaining water supply steel pipes are lifted using the 25 ton truck crane into the trench and onto the reinforced concrete support piers, aligned and joined with each other and welded together, then the retaining steel plates are removed, an anticorrosive coating material is coated onto the inner wall, and finally earth is refilled. The present construction method has the advantages of easy and convenient construction, rapid replacement speed, and high quality.
