Efficient Assignment of Transmit Antennas for Wireless Communications

Antenna Assignment schemes can be used to provide multiple access gain with multiple antennas that spatially separate the signals from different users in wireless networks. In the literature, there are a few algorithms for the assignment that are too complex or fail to maximize the capacity especially in the case of mobility of users. We propose a novel scheme, referred to as max-loss delete (MLD), considering the behavior of MIMO systems with low complexity. The simulation results show the superior performance of our proposed assignment scheme.
