Design and Implementation of Informationalized Radar Display and Control Terminal

Because the current radar display control terminals(DACTs) mainly are closed hardware implementation,it is too difficult to add target detection,tracking and recognition techniques to improve their functions.This paper puts forward an informationalized radar DACT(IRDACT) concept.The new IRDACT based on the general-purpose system multiple processor computer ads target recognition information processing function to the digital radar DACT,manipulates the target returns thouroughly,and classifies the target type hierarchically.IRDACT assembles such functions as retrun acquisition,target detection/tracking,target recognition and diverse information display together,so it is able to provide the information of target tracks,attributes,identities and fleets by manipulating target returns and improve the information sensing capability of the radar systems,thus representing the future trend of the radar DACTs.
