In this paper, we proposed a new algorithm for image encryption based on linear fractional transformation, obtained by the action of the projective general linear group over the Galois field $GF(2^{8})$. We encrypt a color image named as “Baboon” twice using the proposed scheme. Three different S-boxes of high nonlinearity randomly used during the encryption process. By using multiple S-boxes in a single encryption scheme result in an enlargement of the key space. In addition to this, we concluded better correlation analysis, NCPR analysis and UACI analysis than the existing analysis.
