Serious Game for Chronic Subdural Hematoma Neurosurgy using Virtual Reality

This article presents a study on developing a learning simulator for Neurosurgery using Virtual Reality (VR) with 3D objects. The project development was the Chronic Subdural Hematoma. The Chronic Subdural Hematoma (HSDC) is the accumulation of blood between the brain and the skull bone. In some cases the person has no symptoms, but in certain situations the clot compresses the brain in such a way that the patient can have several problems, ranging from a simple headache to the state of coma. Although the field is new, there are already excellent examples of Virtual Reality that have a positive effect on the lives of patients and health professionals (doctors, physiotherapists, etc).
