Beginning from the equivalent circuits of the induction motor, it is given that for the induction motor to economize electric energy, it is necessary to decrease the power line voltage when its load change lighter, and M/U 1 2(s=s N) remains. The power line voltage is changed with load by single chip microcomputer to control the on angle of the double thyristors, and s=sN is kept constant. The experimental results and the variance graphs of economy power rate with load are also given.
