An Adaptive N-Stage Markov Chain Combined Model for Collaboration Trust Maintenance in Supply Chain

Collaboration trust in supply chain is one of the necessary factors to improve the whole efficiency of supply chain. This paper presents a comprehensive model for collaboration trust maintenance in supply chain, integrated adaptive N-stage Markov chain. The lifecycle of collaboration trust is divided into six stages including expedition, conformation, growing, stabilization, degeneration, and dying from a dynamic viewpoint. The transferring process of collaboration trust is interpreted with Markov chain. This paper improves the efficiency of collaboration trust maintenance by numerical example using an adaptive n-stage Markov chain. The result shows that the model combined with n-stage Markov chain for collaboration trust is superior at high effect level.
