Congenital heart disease in a tetra-X woman.

This is the 21st reported case of tetra-X, the oldest patient (58 years) to date, the first studied at autopsy, and the first with documented congenital heart disease. Her mental retardation may well have been related to widespread deficiency of hemisphenal white matter. Death resulted from multiple atrial septal defects.
