템플릿 기반 3D 카탈로그 & 매뉴얼 제작 시스템 개발

Manufacturing enterprises create 3D CAD data in the product design and use for reducing the development period and cost. Most manufacturers invest the introduction of the 3D CAD systems to get effects like the above. 3D CAD data includes a variety of information on products. That is, it could be possible to use 3D CAD data for many fields in the product life cycle. However, 3D CAD data is mostly being utilized in production activities. In conclusion, manufacturers need a new system which is able to apply 3D CAD data to other activities as well as production. This study proposes a system to make the 3D catalog and manual based on the predefined template for sales and marketing of the manufacturing companies. For that, first of all, this paper collected the requirements from the manufacturing companies and analyzed the existing processes for making catalogs and manuals. And then, the paper identified the system functions for the 3D catalog and manual throughout the analysis results on the requirements and processes. Based on the defined functions, we determined the system architecture and data model including the template. Finally, the paper applied the developed system to the manufacturing companies and analyzed the application results through the survey.
