A Q-enhancement method for resonant inductive coupling wireless power transfer system

This paper proposes a Q-enhancement method to improve the quality factor of coils in a resonant inductive coupling wireless power transfer system (WPTS). The proposed WPTS increases the transfer power and the transfer efficiency, simultaneously, especially at transfer distance over the coil diameter. The proposed Q-enhancement method is verified both by calculation and simulation results, which match very well. This method can be implemented for A4WP standard.
