Based on discrete reaching law, a novel discrete variable structure control (DSMVSC)with dynamic disturbance compensator is presented for a class linear uncertain system, which is applied to achieve accurate servo tracking to BLDC (brushless dc motor) control system in the presence of load disturbance and plant parameter variations. The robust stability of system is examined based on Lyapunov stability theory. Theoretical analysis and simulation results demonstrate that the proposed DSMVSC approach can improve dynamic performances of system effectively and enhance the robustness.
