System and method for providing prepaid wise network service of multimedia data in mobile communication network

PURPOSE: A system for providing prepaid type intelligent service of multimedia data in a mobile communication network, and a method thereof are provided to charge for services in real time by combining a prepaid type intelligent network service with a multimedia rate system, and minimize loss of accounting data. CONSTITUTION: A PDSN(Packet Data Serving Node)(125) or IWF(Inter Working Function)(115) transmits an accounting calculation start request. A service control point(140) or service control point gateway(135) transmits report conditions related to data service use quantity of a prepaid type intelligent network subscriber. The data service use quantity of a prepaid type intelligent network subscriber is calculated by using a call signal generated from a wireless data service network. If the report conditions are satisfied, the data service use quantity of the prepaid type intelligent network subscriber is transmitted to the service control point(140). If the PDSN(125) or IWF(115) transmits a request for terminating accounting calculation, an accounting request corresponding to the data service use quantity of the prepaid type intelligent network subscriber is transmitted to an AAA(Authentication Authorization and Accounting)(145).
