This paper describes the research in the field of astrology using case based reasoning method of artificial intelligence. Most typical aspect of astrology is the rules on which prediction is done in this science. Rules are defined by experienced persons in the field of astrology by identifying the similarity between the past cases which they have encountered. But as these rules are defined by individual persons and do not have any consistent method to identify the similarity between the cases this give rise to dissimilarity in the rules defined by different persons in this field. In this paper we are trying to embed artificial intelligence using case based reasoning with astrology to identify the similarity between the cases and to develop single and consistent rule set with their help. This research addresses the prediction based on finding the similarity relationship between data to be predicted and the data stored in the case base. Astrological Prediction System about Profession using Case Based Reasoning (APSAP-CBR) learns the relationship between planetary position of stars at the time of birth of the person and his profession from the cases stored in the case base. Then system uses this relationship to predict the profession of new cases. Once the new case is predicted and verified then case is retained in the case base directly or by modifying the case for future use. The accuracy of the prediction increases as the number of cases increases in case base.
