Impact on burst size in OBS network with adaptive link rate

In this paper, we analyze the impact of burst size in OBS networks with ALR to reduce energy consumption. The simulation is performed in terms of rate reduction, channel occupancy, transition overhead and average queueing delay by using OPNET.
