Teratoma in domestic fowl (Gallus gallus).

Spontaneous teratoma is rare in domestic fowl. Mashar (13), in a comprehensive review, listed 15, of which 2 were his own contributions. One was a museum specimen dating back to 1866. Mashar (13) failed to list a case of Pohl's (16) that was identified as an adenocarcinoma of the testis, but the description was that of a teratoma. Since then additional reports have been made by Jackson (9), 2 cases; Olson and Bullis (15), 1 case; Campbell (5), 1 case; Feldman and Olson (8), 6 cases; Jones (11), 1 case; and Campbell and Appleby (6), 9 cases. That brought the total to 36 cases. This report offers 2 more cases.
