Practical Estimation Method for Prestress Loss of Externally Prestressed Structures

Based on the current research findings of external prestressing techniques and the codes and specifications related to,the correctness and precision of some of the calculation theories in connection with prestress loss in the techniques are verified through respective study of various losses due to friction resistance,anchor deformation,concrete elastic compression,time-dependent variations,and also through a specific example of a bridge strengthening project,the Jinggangshan Bridge.
