Measurement errors and uncertainties

This chapter introduces the definition of measurement errors and uncertainties. The accuracy of measurement is described by trueness and precision. The uncertainties in the measurement are classified by type A and type B. The sources of uncertainties in measurements are explained. Finally, the evaluation process of uncertainties is described in detail.
