Enhancing International Science and Technology Training Program with mobile application

Mobile Apps, as a kind of widely accepted software developed for users on their mobile devices, have been expected to play important roles in improving the quality of training courses and enhancing the process of management in science and technology training sessions. In this paper, we investigated some requirements within the process of execution and management of the International Science and Technology Training Program, and presented a mobile app, ITP app, designed for overseas participants and management team members of this program to achieve a better training courses experience. The features cover nearly the whole process of a training session, including information-pushing, participants registration, session selection and subscribing, curriculum quality evaluation and procedure controlling. The feedback of the app users and test results show that ITP app can improve the quality of training and enhance the efficiency of management-process significantly.
