Embedded- Electrode Electrostatic-Induction Spray-Charging Nozzle: Theoretical and Engineering Design

ABSTRACT THEORETICAL analysis of droplet charging by elec-trostatic induction in a cylindrical-electrode field is developed into a mathematical model for spray-charging nozzle design. Experimental analysis of a miniature embedded-electrode charger incorporated into a pneu-matic-atomizing nozzle is presented as a function of operational variables.
