Application of slide mode control in a DFIG's power decoupled control

The power decoupled control for a double-fed induction generator(DFIG) after connected to the power system is the key to realize maximum wind energy tracking control.A novel control strategy was presented for a double-fed wind generator's power decoupled control.The control system consists of a PI power control link and slide mode current control link.This control strategy solves the problem of parameter setting of double closed-loop PI control.At the same time,the system exhibits strong robustness and best dynamic performance.This method was verified by corresponding simulations with PSCAD for output power decoupled control after the DFIG connected to the power system.
