Optimization of time-cost-quality under non-linear relationship in construction project

Time, cost and quality are main aspects in construction project management. They must be considered togather because they are interdependent and mutual influence. This paper allocated the maximum and the minimum of project indirect cost and benefit ahead of schedule to each activity which made up the project. It constructed the non-linear relationship between activity cost and duration, and between quality and duration, and established the time-cost-quality integrated optimization model using multi-attribute utility function theory, and solved the model with genetic algorithms. At last,a case study proves that the model can shorten the time, reduce the cost and improve the quality of construction projects as well.
