Eigenstructure method for robust array processing

A robust array processing algorithm based on the eigenstructure method is presented. In the presence of array imperfection the proposed method yields maximum output signal-to-noise ratio. In a near-field environment the proposed beam-former performs well without cancelling the desired signal.
