KNOWLEDGE ORGANIZATIONAL CAPABILITIES AND ORGANIZATIONALPERFORMANCE: SEARCHING FOR A MODEL TO THE INTERORGANIZATIONALNETWORKS

It seems to be important for maintainable growth of the Interorganizational Networks (IN's) development of knowledge organizational capabilities (KOC's), once such capabilities are related with the knowledge flows emerged inside of the network as well as in the use of the knowledge external sources. Such KOC's are subdivided in two complementary types: the knowledge infrastructure organizational capability (KIOC), that mean the group of linked capabilities: the technology, it structures organizational and existent organizational culture in a IN; and the absorptive capacity of the organizational knowledge (ACOK), composed by abilities for acquisition, conversion and application of the knowledge in those IN's. The group of KOC's when developed by some IN in an effective way can impact in its organizational performance (OP), providing the base for a continuous growth and greater competitiveness to those organizational arrangements. Finally, the paper presents a conceptual model that search for to integrate a group of propositions around those phenomenons, their limitations and a group of final considerations.
