Gear drive is an important kind of driving device in mechanical equipment.Three-dimensional models of gears were created by Pro/E,and the data matrices of the teeth outline were constructed by using MATLAB.The driving model and virtual prototype of gear meshing transmission was established based on ADAMS.Aiming at the limitation of gaining the forces acting on the teeth,the real-time dynamic simulations of discrete and continuous teeth mesh were achieved with the theory of Hertz embedded.The effect of decentrations and teeth shape imperfections were examined by virtual prototyping model,which provided references to research on dynamic characteristics of gear driving device.
