Pulse voltage circuits

The problems associated with very high voltages may be avoided in part by a variety of pulse-multiplication techniques. These methods are quite varied but share two features, the use of modest dc voltages and the use of switching techniques, to produce in some manner a vectorial transient addition of voltages. Many such methods exist, but only the Marx blank, spiral generator, inversion generator, and Blumlein will be addressed here in detail. Two other methods will be given a brief discussion as matters of interest.
