Third-generation (3G) mobile phone-based real-time highway safety pre-warning system

The invention discloses a third-generation (3G) mobile phone-based real-time highway safety pre-warning system. The system comprises three parts, namely a vehicle-mounted information acquisition device, a 3G smart phone and a central server. The vehicle-mounted information acquisition device acquires the state information, the position information and the speed and acceleration information and transmits the acquired data to the central server by connecting with the 3G mobile phone; the central server receives the data transmitted by all the vehicles, calculates safety-related vehicles of each vehicle and transmits the data of the related vehicles to each vehicle-mounted smart phone, so that each vehicle can monitor surrounding vehicles beyond visual range, and when an accident occurs in a front place out of sight, the smart phone alarms to remind a driver, and the driver can take effective measures in advance according to the pre-warning information, and a secondary accident is avoided.
