Terminal device, network device, uplink transmitting method, and uplink receiving method

The present invention relates to wireless communications, and in particular, to a terminal device, a network device, an uplink transmitting method, and an uplink receiving method. The present invention solves the problem of being unable to obtain information of a carrier such as downlink channel characteristics if an uplink reference signal is not transmitted over the carrier in a carrier aggregation scenario. In a terminal device, a processing module selects, for an uplink sub-frame, one or more common carriers or special carriers from a first carrier set which consists of all the carriers in a carrier aggregation used by the terminal device for transmitting a first uplink sub-frame, and a transmitting module abandons the transmission of the uplink sub-frame over the one or more carriers. The special carriers are carriers over which the terminal device does not transmit uplink data or uplink control information in an uplink direction; and the common carriers are carriers used by the terminal device for transmitting the uplink data and/or the uplink control information. By surrendering transmission of one uplink sub-frame over some of the carriers, the problem of being unable to obtain information of a carrier such as downlink channel characteristics if an uplink reference signal is not transmitted over the carrier is solved.
