A communication plan for public-key image steganography

The steganographic system against the passive attacks is a hot issue in the researches of the information hidden in internet communication. However, the dilemma between steganographic capacity and security has not been dealt with. By well combining the public-key cryptography with Anderson′s public-key steganographic protocol and Eggers′ histogram preserving information embedding method, a new public-key image steganographic scheme is proposed. The theoretic analysis and experimental results show that the proposed steganographic scheme can provide both high capacity and good security.
