THE RESEARCH OF CLOSED-LOOP CONTROL METHOD FOR MATRIX CONVERTER BASED ON SPACE VECTOR MODULATION

A closed-loop control method for the matrix converter based on space vector modulation is proposed in this paper. The discrepancy between the rotating space vector of voltages is calculated according to the discrepancy between the actual output voltage and expected output voltage of the matrix converter. The obtained discrepancy is added as feedback to the switch modulation matrix of the next sampling period to realize the closed-loop control . Theoretical deduction and actual realizing method are given in the paper. The proposed close-loop control method can ensure the output voltage follow the reference voltage very well, and it can suppress distortion of the waveforms of the output voltages and input currents effectively. The validities of the theoretical analysis are demonstrated by simulation.
