Hyperextension of the Head in Breech Presentation

Case 2 A 22-year-old primigravida was found to have a bicornuate ut eru s on pelvic examination at the antenatal clinic. The p regnancy proceeded uneventfully until, becau se of uncert ainty of the presenting part, an x-r ay examination was performed at 37 weeks' am enorrhoea . A breech pr esentati on with the head extend ed was seen (Fig. 2)_ The patient was later admitted with an accidental haemo rrhage at 38 weeks' amenorrhoea and was delivered hy lower segment caesarean section . The pregnan cy was in th e r ight side of the b icornuate ut erus with the placental insert ion on the lateral wall. The fem ale infant weighing 2,J50g. was abnormal in app ear ance and is being followed up.
