STRUCTURAL AND QUANTITATIVE PERSPECTIVES ON BUSINESS PROCESS MODELLING AND ANALYSIS

In this paper we introduce and motivate the use of structural and quantitative perspectives on business process modelling and analysis. Structural perspectives are associated with certain model structuring styles. Quantitative perspectives are associated with certain process measures, in our case time-based measures. Furthermore, we relate these structural and quantitative perspectives. The introduced perspectives and their relationships enhance the insight in business process models and facilitate their analysis.
