Integrative characteristics of mechatronic products were generated step by step in every design phase,and the ultimate optimality of integrative characteristics was subject to dynamic evolvements of design objects,product models and optimization process.Regarding optimality of integrative characteristics of products as the overall object,a design methodology of integrative characteristics optimization for mechatronic products was put forward,with function optimization design as its outset,dynamic optimization its core,intelligence optimization its object and visibility optimization its means.Finally,a process model of integrative characteristics optimization design for mechatronic products was established.
