Design and Implementation of ARINC429 Communication System based on FPGA

ARINC429 communication bus is widely applied in modern aerocraft,so it is necessary to develop the testing system corresponding to its communication.For implementing data communication between multi-channel ARINC429 bus of aerocraft and PCI bus of testing systems,based on analysis of ARINC429 communication protocol,independent four-receiving-channel and two-transmit-channel ARINC429 data communication and PCI communication between testing system and upper computer are realized by FPGA.Test indicates that the system is able to transfer data flexibly and reliably,and simple in structure,small in cubage and low in power consumption,and comparable to the traditional DSP plus,PLX9054 plus FPGA system,thus could solve the problem of multi-channel ARINC429 communication between aerocraft and testing system.
