Feature Curve Numerical Simulation and Bolt Grouting Reinforcement of Jointing Soft Rock in Mine Roadway

The discrete element method was applied to the numerical simulation analysis on the surrounding rock feature curves during the mine jointing soft rock roadway with no reinforcement, with arch liner and bolt grouting reinforcement and with a full bolt grouting reinforcement. From the simulations, the surrounding rock feature curves under three conditions were obtained. The feature curve analysis showed that during the construction of the arch liner reinforcement, the surrounding rock stability at the arch and side walls of the mine roadway was obviously improved, but the floor stability become worse. After full sectional reinforcement, the surrounding rock stability of each part of the mine roadway as improved. The support results were better than the arch liner reinforcement. Thus the full sectional bolt grouting reinforcement could be a valuable technical means to be promoted. The analysis on the surrounding rock stress field of the mine roadway had showed the mechanism of the bolt grouting reinforcement. With the bolt grouting reinforcement, the surrounding rock structure face could be strengthened and the cohesive force and the inner friction angle of the surrounding structure face would be increased in order to restrain the gape and sliding of the structure face,to be favorable for the surrounding rock blocks to form a pressure arch structure with the extrusion function and to enhance and play the self bearing capacity of the surrounding rocks.
