A Model for the Development of NFC Context-Awareness Applications on Internet of Things

In this paper a model for the development of context-awareness applications using Near Field Communication is presented. The model is based in the association of services and resources to augmented objects through Tags. The different types of services assigned to the objects are modeled in a hierarchy defining the execution order and personalizing the user interaction through the use of resources and rules. A tool for the testing and validation of the model has been developed and is described in the paper together with an application example.
