The invention discloses a resource distribution indicating method and a base station. The resource distribution indicating method comprises the following steps: the base station divides a logical resource unit into M resource distribution units; when M is more than P, the base station divides the M resource distribution units into K groups, wherein P is a bit number occupied by resource indicating information, and K is more than and equal to 1 or less than M; and the base station sends the resource indicating information to a terminal, wherein the resource indicating information indicates the group with the resource distribution units distributed for the terminal by the base station and/or the resource distribution units distributed for the terminal by the base station in the group. The invention has the advantages of lower complexity, easy realization and wider resource indicating range.
