Proposal of Information Acquisition Method Utilizing CCN in a Time of Large Scale Natural Disaster

We focused on Content Centric Networking (CCN) of the next generation network. CCN is the technology for which data is reused over the whole network by storing cache of data in each router. In this paper, we propose the information acquisition method utilizing CCN in a time of large scale natural disaster. We attempted a comparison between IP network and CCN over the network simulator. In this comparative verification, we established the cache hit ratio, the number of hops, and data acquisition time as the evaluation item. On comparative verification, we could confirm the utility of the CCN. CCN technology has a great potential that various information can be provided to victims in poor network conditions of a time of large scale natural disaster.
