DEVELOPMENT OF THE INTEGRATED TRAINING SYSTEMS FOR THE KCRC WEST RAIL

This paper presents an overview of the new Kowloon Canton Railway Corporation (Hong Kong) West Rail network integrated training system (ITS), and the technologies envisioned to be adopted in the project. Also discussed are the benefits and expected outcomes from the West Rail ITS and computer-based training, as well as plans for further network development and applications.
