Tb/s-class CPRI-equivalent data rate transmission using IF-over-Fiber system for high-capacity mobile fronthaul links

This paper discusses the potential of the Intermediate Frequency-over-Fiber (IFoF) technology for future mobile fronthaul links. The result of the recently achieved 1-Tb/s CPRI-equivalent-rate transmission with a parallel IM/PM transmitter is also presented.
