Unilateral Internal Carotid Artery Hypoplasia Incidentally Found in Adult Patient

Unilateral hypoplasia of the internal carotid artery, is an extremely rare conjenital anomaly. It is usually diagnosed incidentally during radiological examination for another reason. Although mostly asymptomatic, it may be accompanied with life-threatening developmental anomalies. In this report a case determined with left carotid artery hypoplasia in radiological imaging for evaluation of dizziness was presented.
