3D Reconstruction Technology and Military Application

This paper briefly introduces the definition and classification of 3D reconstruction technology. Then analyzes the military applications of 3D reconstruction technology from five aspects which are as follows: military mapping and navigation, virtual battlefield construction, unmanned combat application, military medical rescue, equipment manufacturing and repairing. At last, reveals the military influences of 3D reconstruction from target indication, simulation training, unmanned system, medical service work and equipment support.
