Multi-channel variable-parameter SSDC(SubSynchronous Damping Control) is adopted in VSC-HVDC to suppress the SSO(SubSynchronous Oscillation).IEEE first benchmark system with VSC-HVDC is built in PSCAD/EMTDC.The phase lag property of generator electromagnetic torque behind modulating power is obtained with the test signal method,based on which,the rational parameters are selected for the design of multi-channel variable-parameter SSDC.Simulative results show that,VSC equipped with multi-channel variable-parameter SSDC effectively suppresses SSO with certain robustness.
