Security of interconnecting UMTS with WLAN

3GPP integrates UMTS and WLAN to realize their advantages complement.Integrated network can offer subscribers worldwide connectivity,roaming,billing and high-speed data rate.The security schemes of UMTS and WLAN were introduced in this paper,and the workflows and potential security problems of EAP-AKA,which is used in integrated network,are explained.IEEE802.1x protocol is used to authorize the user to refrain from false AP.Two-way authorization scheme is introduced to provide better service.
