Trust-Based Access Control for Collaborative System

Nowadays, most of access control models have been studied extensively in centralized and static environment, and they seldom meet the requirements of some dynamic collaborative environments, such as Grid, P2P and ad-hoc network. In this paper, the trust mechanism of the agents in collaborative environments is analyzed, a suitable method is introduced for calculating the agentpsilas trust in collaborative environments, a dynamic trust-based access control scheme is developed to address to the security services in collaborative environments. This scheme constructs mixed models of trust-based access control and some traditional modes, and the strategies are given for different access services.
