H2 Fuel Cell Stack Performance Studies Based on a Dynamical Model

A dynamical model of H2 fuel cell stack with water balance is developed in this paper for studying steady and dynamical performances of proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cell stacks. Quasi-real scale cell simulations were carried out under different operating conditions and the corresponding performances of them are compared to those measured in practice. It shows a very good agreement between the simulated and experimented results.
